Debt is a symptom. Direction is the work.

Credit cards. Personal loans. Finance-company borrowings that quietly compound. Before any of it can be acted on, the picture has to be clear. That is where we sit with you.

What HORIZON CREST does

  • Sits with you privately and maps your full credit picture.
  • Explains, in plain language, the options available in Hong Kong.
  • Identifies which option best fits your situation, not ours.
  • Introduces you to an independently licensed specialist to act.
  • Stays alongside you as an independent second view, if you want it.

What HORIZON CREST does not do

  • Lend money to you, in any form.
  • Negotiate with banks, finance companies, or credit-card issuers on your behalf.
  • Act as a debt-collection agent or a broker of loans.
  • Administer any Debt Restructuring Plan (DRP), Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA), or bankruptcy proceeding.
  • Promise a credit-score outcome, a repayment amount, or an approval.
  • Accept commissions from lenders on any loan you take.

How it works

Three quiet steps.

  1. A private conversation.

By appointment, at the Central meeting room or by encrypted call. You bring your credit-card statements, loan letters, and any correspondence with lenders. We listen. Nothing leaves the room.

  2. A written picture of your options.

Within a few working days, you receive a short written note: what you owe, to whom, on what terms, and the realistic paths available under Hong Kong law and practice. Written for you to read alone. Written for a second opinion if you want one.

  3. An introduction to the right specialist.

When you have decided on a direction, we introduce you to an independently licensed specialist — a solicitor, an accountant, a licensed money lender, or another regulated party — who will act. The engagement is between you and them. We can sit alongside you as a second view.

The paths available in Hong Kong

Four options. One conversation to weigh them.

Every situation is different. The table below is a general orientation — not advice, not a recommendation. HORIZON CREST helps you decide which row applies to you, and introduces the licensed specialist who executes it.

Option In plain terms Who executes it HORIZON CREST's role
Direct negotiation with your existing lender A hardship request, a rate adjustment, or an extended repayment schedule agreed one-to-one with the bank or finance company. You, in writing, or a solicitor acting for you. We help you frame the request and understand what a bank will and will not consider.
Refinancing via a licensed institution Consolidating multiple balances into a single, lower-cost facility with a licensed bank or a licensed money lender under Cap.163. The licensed institution you engage directly. We help you understand what the market will price, and introduce a licensed lender for you to approach.
Debt Restructuring Plan (DRP) or Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) A formal arrangement with creditors, supervised by the court, administered by a solicitor or accountant. Recorded on your credit history. A qualified nominee — a solicitor or accountant — appointed by you. We explain what a DRP or IVA means in practice and introduce a qualified nominee.
Bankruptcy under the Bankruptcy Ordinance (Cap.6) A court-supervised discharge of most personal debts, with clear consequences for credit, employment, and travel. You, with a solicitor, and the Official Receiver's Office. We help you understand whether this is truly the shortest path, and introduce a solicitor to act.

This table is a general orientation only. It is not legal, financial, or debt advice. Your position depends on facts we would need to see together.

Who this is for

People who prefer to think before they act.

Business owners with mixed personal and corporate borrowing. Professionals whose credit position matters to a licence or an employer. Family principals whose personal balance sheet sits inside a bigger picture. Anyone who would rather see the full map once, quietly, than take the first call from a broker.

By appointment only · at the Central meeting room · in English, 粵語, or 普通話 · confidentially, under NDA where you ask.

If a first conversation would help, we are one email away.

We reply within two working days. First meetings are by appointment and preceded by a brief written enquiry.
